I’m delighted to announce details of the first confirmed speaker for the Business Teacher National Conference 2010, which is being held at the British Library on Friday 18 June 2010…

Rajeeb Dey is fast-becoming one of Britain’s best-known and most inspirational young entrepreneurs. He’s a terrific speaker and has a great story to tell.  Rajeeb is also being followed for the next year by Rachel Bridge in her Sunday Times column profiling three entrepreneurial start-ups. So we’ll get to learn much more about Rajeeb before we get the chance to meet him in person on the 18th June 2010.

Rajeeb is the Founder & CEO of Eternships.com - a portal which connects students and graduates to start-ups and small businesses worldwide.

Before founding Eternships.com, Rajeeb was the longest serving President of Oxford Entrepreneurs, the society for Oxford University student entrepreneurs and one of the largest networks for student entrepreneurs in Europe.  He is also Founder and Chairman of the English Secondary Students’ Association (ESSA), a national organisation working to give secondary students aged 11-19 a voice in education (www.studentvoice.co.uk).

Rajeeb is a Trustee of UnLtd - the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs; a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts; a Trustee of the Phoenix Education Trust and Advisory Board Member of the UK-India Business Council (Next Generation Network).
