Geoff Riley
Geoff is formerly Head of Economics at Eton College and he is also co-Founder of Tutor2u. Whilst continuing to teach Economics full-time, Geoff has a new role as Head of Teaching and Learning Technologies at Eton College. I have a strong interest in harnessing new technologies as part of my teaching and in developing and supporting a community of teachers who teach my subject from maintained and independent schools in the UK and overseas.
I am a supporter of open source software in education and have attended two Moodle Moots - one in London in April 2010 and most recently the Australian Moodle Moot in Melbourne in July 2010. Outside of my day job I am a soccer and hockey coach. I refereed premiership national league hockey from 1990 through to 2007. My other interests include cinema, theatre, stand-up comedy, long-distance walking, rowing and rugby league.
