Following the excellent response to my blog last week a colleague in the department (who is leaving to become Principle of Colombo International School) has asked me to post this.
Recently retired (or retiring) but still want to teach?
In search of an adventure? Or both?
Then come to teach in Sri Lanka
We offer: outstanding students (50% Grade ‘A’ @ A level) who want to learn.
Air fares /Furnished Accommodation (Not the Ritz but adequate)
Basic salary enough to live well on locally but you will not save much.
Some luggage and medical benefits are included in the package.
We need a range of outstanding A Level teachers.
Two Economics teachers one in Colombo one in Kandy (Business Studies experience would also be useful).
If you have a partner who teaches Maths (Kandy) or Geography (HoD), English, French or Junior School (Years 3-6) (Colombo) then so much the better their application would be welcome. If you have a friend who might be interested in any of these posts please forward this to them.
