Emily Levine talks about science, maths, society and they way that everything connects. As a philosopher/comedian the discussion that results is very funny. Her work, whilst being hilarious, also makes serious connections between hard science and pop culture, between what we say and what we secretly assume.
The content is a little risque in parts- be warned.
Emily Levine loves to make diverse connections. Through this she likes to make change. Her thinking is an amusing example of how to TOK-ify things! Making connections, sideways thinking, short circuiting peoples thinking, altering your train of association- these are all ways of describing what she does. Emily likes to encourage people to re-wire how people think. She enjoys the shock of recognition or re-cognition.
