What is the purpose of a mobile phone?  Clearly the answer must be to make phone calls.  However, teenagers may differ in their answer.  According to a recent article in the New York Times, teenagers are using their mobile phones for text messaging rather than voice communication – some 3,339 messages on average, per month!  So do teenage boys or girls send/receive more text messages?  Read the article to find out…
