Develop Duncastle’s stadium as a way of increasing sales and profits

Moorsland, the home stadium of Duncastle, is in need of investment.  As a new game begins, the ground capacity of Moorsland is 30,000, which is the maximum number of paying spectators who can attend a home game. The Club Shop is also small, limited to the sale of just one product - a Home Strip.  There is some spare land adjacent to Moorsland which has planning permission for Duncastle to build a hotel & leisure facility.

You have the option to invest in Moorsland Stadium in several ways:

* Add extra capacity by upgrading one or more of the ground’s four stands.  This will cost £10 million per stand and will add to the weekly wage costs once the development is complete.  Each stand development will temporarily reduce ground capacity until it is complete, which will mean lower gate receipts for a while.

* Extend the Club Shop.  This will cost £500,000 but, once completed, will allow the sale of a wider range of Duncastle merchandise.

* Build a hotel. You have a choice of a 2, 3, 4 and 5 star development.  The choice you make will affect the revenue and profit earned from hotel guests.  The investment required ranges from £2-5 million.
