Setting Ticket Prices

An important part of the marketing mix at Duncastle is the decision about what price to pay for home game tickets

Gate receipts are the most important source of revenue for Duncastle.  The local population will flock to see a successful team, but they will also be influenced by how much you charge for admission.

The ticket price decision screen asks you to select a ticket price of between £10 - £50 for each game.  You can change this at any stage during the season, experimenting to see which price generates the best revenue.

Remember that a lower ticket price will normally mean more spectators than a higher price. However, other factors affect match attendance, including team form and the signing of new players.

You can look at the effect of a change in ticket prices by looking at the Gate Receipts analysis report.  To access this, go to the Financial Reports section on the desktop in the Chairman’s office.
