The Hot Seat ("THS") places you at the heart of the decisions involved in running a football club as a business. Taking on the role of the Duncastle United Chairman, you must make strategic business decisions and attempt to steer the club back onto the road to success.  Only you can decide how to handle the management challenges at Duncastle:

* Will you stick with tradition and employ a British manager, or will you turn your attentions overseas?
* What do you do when the model wife of your centre forward is homesick and wants to return to her native Italy?
* Will you support your manager’s request for a new £3m goalkeeper?
* How do you juggle the finances in order to renovate Duncastle’s dilapidated Moorsland stadium?
* Will you be brave enough to sell a star-striker in order to generate cash?
* What kind of sponsorship deals will be best for the club?
* Can you handle getting stick from the press?
* What do you do when your star player signs his own merchandising deal?
