Chairmans Office - Introduction
Once you have made your initial decisions, it is time to sit back and run the Duncastle business as a new season begins! You will find yourself moving between the Chairman’s Office and the Boardroom, depending on your management style. Let’s take a look at some important features of the Chairman’s Office.
Daily News & LCB TV News Channel
As Chairman it is important to keep up to-date with what the media are reporting about Duncastle. On the wall of the office you’ll see a flat-screen television which will broadcast any relevant news stories from LCB News about the Club. You will also get a copy of the Daily News each time there is a story you need to read.
Approval Ratings & Game Score
Like most football Chairman, you will want to know how you are doing. So the place to look is the Approval Ratings report, which you can access by clicking your coffee mug on the desk.
You will be provided with information about:
* Fan approval: Duncastle fans want success on the pitch. A strong league position and a good cup run will do wonders for your approval rating from the supporters.
* Shareholder approval: shareholders want financial success and a return on their investment. To win their approval, you need to focus on making Duncastle profitable and provide shareholders with dividends in return for their support.
* Bank approval: For the local Duncastle bank manager, cash flow is “king”. You will win approval from the Bank through careful cash management and prudent decision-making.
Emails
To run Duncastle successfully, you need to keep a careful eye on your emails, responding to them when necessary. Look out for regular emails from the:
* Team Manager, keeping you up to date with team news, suggested transfer signings, team morale etc;
* Marketing Manager, reporting on the results of your advertising campaigns;
