A presentation application, which provides so much freedom.

“Have you ever wondered about presenting your thoughts as free as they come? Ever got tired of creating a slideshow? It’s been said, that the best innovations come from people who are unhappy with the tools they use. We realized that our ideas won’t fit into slides anymore. Putting together creative thinking and technology expertise, we have created Prezi, a living presentation tool.” So goes the publicity blurb, but for once this comes close to reality, the ability to control the presentation of the information gives a dynamism to the presentation, I now rarely go back to powerpoint.
This application would certainly suit educators and students, especially when presenting and discussing visual information, as one can easily zoom in and out of an image. Although created online, the finished ‘prezi’ can be downloaded. I have had a prezi on a memory stick, and presented it from the conference hall’s PC. To be brutally honest it is even better on an interactive whiteboard. For all those tired of Powerpoint.
