It’s Sunday again, so time for another starter activity. This one could be done as a who or what am I. It is a good way to get the class thinking and talking to each other about economics.
Students can be paired up with one being given a cue card with an economic term. They then have to think of three descriptions of this term to help the other person guess what it is. A good way to differentiate this task would be to give some pairings the descriptions as well. It could be turned into a competition with two teams, this would ensure the students think carefully about their descriptions!
