Is this what the job market has come to?
With unemployment continuing to rise even with signs of a recovery one graduate chose a novel way of trying to find a job. Even without the recession university graduates would face a tough jobs market due to the increase in the number of students going to university. 20 years ago 17% of 18-30 year olds went to university, this compares with 43% in 2008.
Companies are also far more careful with employing new staff at present in case we see a double dip recession.
