Another Sunday, another super starter to get some lessons off to a good start this week. This week I have decided to go with odd one out. Below there are sets of statements, students must spot the odd one out, they could also explain why it is the odd one out.

1.  population, costs of production, income, fashions and trends
2.  corporation tax, income tax, national insurance, VAT
3.  inelastic, elastic, inferior, unit elastic
4.  unemployment, inflation, economic growth, government spending
5.  structural, frictional, functional, seasonal
6.  land, capital, labour, computers
