Trawling through the BBC website on Thursday evening I came across an absolute gem. How often do we want interesting data to use with our classes? Well I think I have found an answer! The new online tool OECD Factbook eXplorer.

The BBC have written an article and done a video explaining the new online tool OECD have developed which will make data visualisation and manipulation much easier. As the OCR GCSE specification moves towards a more globalisation / international focus in the case study, I think this new online tool could help create many interesting independent learning tasks. I shall certainly be using it in September.
