The Daily Mail has come up with some great photos of a massive supermarket warehouse gearing up for Christmas.

They would be perfect for an activity on economies and diseconomies of scale. At the beginning of the topic students could be given the photos and put into groups to discuss possible advantages and disadvantages of working on such a big scale.
