Demand and Supply in action - the pocket toilet
Recommend on Google+
The increase in popularity of festivals along with more people going on holiday in the UK has led to the invention of the pocket toilet -

It is also expected to see a huge increase in demand over the Christmas period as people set about traveling the country to visit relatives. Halfords has seen a massive boost in demand for this latest ‘convenience’ product. Coming in at £3.99 accessory from Ardern Healthcare has apparently become a must-have for festival goers and those going away at holiday time and risking log jam traffic conditions.
The trend came to light when Halfords analysed trading data and noticed large peaks with sales increasing by more than 50 per cent during the summer months, with particular spikes during the music festivals weekends such as Glastonbury, The Big Chill and T in the Park.
The product also looks set to be one of the more unusual Christmas presents with sales in December 2009 increasing by more than 250 per cent.
Certainly something interesting to ponder today!
