Teaching Vacancy - Head of Humanities Department at the International School of Lausanne
Recommend on Google+
Many thanks to Simon Foley at the International School of Lausanne for letting us know about a superb teaching opportunity that I know will be of interest to many colleagues. Details below.
The position is essentially to teach IB diploma economics, although the opportunity to teach theory of knowledge also exists. There is a small possibility that the successful candidate will also teach some MYP humanities. Experienced or aspiring heads of departments are encouraged to apply for the head of humanities department position which will be vacant from August 2012.
The successful candidate will be teaching students who will be attending the World’s best universities. The school is a demanding but incredibly positive and supportive place to work. With a salary above UK independent levels and an enviable quality of life, this is an excellent opportunity.
The advert can be viewed at http://www.isl.ch/page.cfm?p=1395&pback=368 and a school and position information pack can be downloaded from the same page.
