In a bid to solve the asymmetric information problem that the opaque system of Oxbridge interviews entails, Oxford have announced that they are releasing video diaries of selected interviews. Prospective Oxford University students are been given a unique insight into the application process in a series of online videos.
Director of undergraduate admissions Mike Nicholson said: “We want to be as open and transparent about the process as possible, and show prospective applicants what it’s like for those making decisions about who to admit.”
