This BBC news video reports that the number of hospital admissions linked to alcohol has more than doubled in the last 12 years.

More and more teenagers are being admitted to hospital with alcohol related illnesses; they and millions of others readily admit to drinking way above the recommended limits but the majority refuse to believe or understand the effects this can have on their health in the years ahead. Doctors are calling for substantial increases in the real price of alcohol.
