MON€Y PANIC$ – A Visualisation Challenge
‘There’s a ton of information and data flying around about the financial system, debt crises, recession fears, Wall St occupation, currency devaluation, collapse of the markets and general END OF THE WORLD PANIC!’
The great thing here is that the data is provided by the Guardian datablog and it’s up to individuals to creatively turn this into something manageable.
There’s $5000 in prizes to be won for entries into this competition which may entice some pupils, however I’m also going to turn this into an intra-school competition for pupils who are, frankly, much more creative and better at using technology data displays than me! Let’s see what they can produce!
