There are just under couple of weeks until the Economics Teacher National Conference at the British Library, St Pancras.  We meet on Thursday 17 June 2010 for a terrific CPD day for all economics teachers - a great way to celebrate the end of another long school year!

Our programme is as follows

10.30am - Professor Paul Collier (Oxford University) - The Plundered Planet
11.20am - Dr Linda Yueh - (Oxford University) The Economy of China
12.15pm - Morning refreshments
12.35pm - Stephen King - (Chief Global Economist of HSBC) - Losing Control
13.20pm - Lunch
14.10pm - Hamish McRae (The Independent) - What Works?
15.10pm - Closing remarks
15.15pm - Drinks Reception

Places at the conference on 17 June 2010 are available from just £100 for colleagues participating as part of the tutor2u departmental deal (three or more places over the three days for Politics, Economics & Business from 16-18 June 2010).

The booking form can be downloaded from this link:

Alternatively, just email Chrissie in the office (chrissie@tutor2u.net) or call her on 0844 800 0085 to request places for you and your colleagues.

The whole day should be a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another school year for economics teachers - and a great way to be inspired for the new year ahead! We are arranging book signings for all four of our authors and there will be many teaching resources on the delegate CD! Over 100 colleagues are already booked into the conference - please do join us.

The Twitter hashtag for this conference is ETNC10 - tweet through your questions for the speakers and send real time comments during the day!
