The LSE runs an extensive programme of external lectures which often attracts ‘celebrities’ from the world of academia.
Podcasts and transcripts are available from the LSE website and in October last year Bjorn Lomberg and Simon Dietz debated the issue of climate change.
Podcasts from the event are available here, as are the presentations from the talks by Professor Lomborg (also known as the sceptical environmentalist) and Dr Dietz.
The data and arguments could be very useful for AS students choosing The Environment option in AQA AS Economics Unit 3.
