A great evaluative point and example of how not all businesses gain when the economy does well…: Begbies is an insolvency firm that has had to issue a profits warning, because the economy has done better than expected.

A great example of supply and demand and how news affects share prices - On Thursday, Desire’s statement that it had discovered a new oil well sent its shares up 25%. Yesterday Desire’s share price fell 40% when the news that the new oil well it had discovered actually only contained water. Read more here.
