AQA BUSS2 & BUSS4 Revision Workshops in April & May 2010 (New Venues Added!)

Provisional bookings can now be made for our popular programme of intensive one-day revision workshops for AQA AS Business (BUSS2) and A2 Business (BUSS4) in late April 2010 and early May 2010.  As you may be aware, AtoZ Training are no longer running Spring conferences , so we expect that our AQA revision days will be heavily over-subscribed. As a result, we’ve added three new venues to the programme - Leeds, Newcastle & Belfast. We are also attempting to add overflow capacity to our London, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham days.

AQA BUSS1 & BUSS3 - Intensive Revision Student Conferences December 2010

The provisional dates for our programme of intensive revision student conferences for AQA Business Studies (BUSS1 & BUSS3) have just been released.  They are:

On the road for BUSS1 & BUSS3

We’re on the road with visits this week to Fulham Broadway, Birmingham and Salford Quays as part tutor2u’s revision workshop programme for AQA Business Studies.  Two packed screens today at Fulham where the students worked incredibly hard during 5 hours of intensive exam coaching for the BUSS1 and BUSS3 exams in January 2010. We return to the same venues in the last week of April 2010 + a day at Cribbs Causeway Bristol for one-day exam preparation on BUSS2 and BUSS4 (2010 pre-release).

AQA AS Business Unit 2 Revision Workshops

We’re on the way to Bristol to being our programme of intensive one-day revision workshops for AQA AS Business Unit 2 (Managing a Business).  We are running five workshops during March and April to help students prepare for the first BUSS2 exam.

Its not possible to cover all the content in what is looks to be a heavyweight unit (certainly compared with Unit 1). So we are focusing on a limited number of core topics and using those as the platform for helping students develop the key exam technique skills that will enable them to perform at their best in May.

The programme covers:

- Competitive Marketing
- Cash flow management
- Capacity managemement and productivity
- Effective people management & the link to customer service & quality
- Using price elasticity in business decisions

Each of the above sessions contains a series of exercises which test knowledge, application and analysis. Each session also ends with an exam-style question which develops an approach to demonstrating evaluative skills.  The key exam technique lessons are then brought together at the close of the workshop, providing students with a clear roadmap to performing well when they open that first BUSS2 exam paper.
