I’m delighted that one of the UK’s foremost entrepreneurs has agreed to lead a session at the 2009 Business Teacher National Conference…

Mike Southon is the man in question. A brief profile of Mike is provided below.

Mike is the first of several high profile speakers that we are lining up for the 2009 Business Teacher National Conference which promises to be our best-ever!

We are returning to the British Library Conference Auditorium, St Pancras for a hat-trick of visits at such a superb venue. Even better, we have frozen the delegate prices at 2007 levels and are also offering a “departmental deal”. This is a great value way for colleagues to attend the premier CPD event for business teachers together!

ABOUT MIKE SOUTHON

Mike Southon - The Beermat Entrepreneur. The UK’s Foremost Business Speaker, Author and Mentor on Sales and Entrepreneurship.

Mike is a Visiting Fellow in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at London South Bank University. He has made frequent appearances on television and radio and has a weekly column on entrepreneurship on Saturdays in the Financial Times.

He works with Regional Development Agencies, Chambers of Commerce, Business Links and the Prince’s Trust to support entrepreneurship in the UK, including a major focus on schools with Young Enterprise.

Mike Southon is a leading authority on ‘Intrapreneurship’: in 2005, he and Chris published The Boardroom Entrepreneur to show large corporations how to encourage entrepreneurial instincts and enterprise throughout their organisations.
