Yesterday’s World - The Home Computer!

Fantastic. Take a time trip back just 35 years to a time when computers were just being trialled in the home. Derek Cooper investigated Europe’s first home computer terminal. Installed into the home of industrial consultant Rex Malik (pictured above), it included an electric typewriter and could send and receive messages, update his diary and check his bank balance. Even his four-year-old son Nicholas could use it to work out basic maths problems. Way back then, could we have expected a computer like this in every home in the future?
