The media scrum around the dying Jade Goody has turned attention towards the wonderful work of the hospice movement.
As charitable, not-for-profit organisations, this short BBC video clip makes the point that hopsices are not imune from the problems of the credit crunch. Hospices need to budget carefully to provide their critically-important work, but they face a cash crisis in fund-raising. An excellent video to use with students to illustrate the role of not-for-profit:
