A good activity for this would be the classic Mr Priors Parkinson (one of mine..should do a blog on it really). Split the class in pairs..one case study each..one plays the person in the case study, the other plays Parky..10 minutes to prepare 5 questions for a classic Parky interview...always a belter that one..
Teaching Activity on Startups - Mini Briefs
This teaching resource went down a storm when we introduced it to our colleagues offering AQA BUSS1 and at the Business Booster CPD days this month! So we thought we’d share it with the wider tutor2u business teacher community…
The idea is very simple - a collection of 20 brief case studies (mini-briefs) describing the process taken by 20 real-life startups to get their businesses up and running. These are designed to be printed out onto A5 (half A4 paper); they work particularly well when laminated.
The download file contains all the 20 mini-briefs together with a mapping document that matches each case study to key curriculum topics.
There are many alternative ways of integrating the mini-briefs into lessons - lots of suggestions here, and we would love to have your ideas too
