There are just three weeks to go until our TBBLE Business Studies CPD Revision Special (2012) which runs in Manchester on 13 March 2012, followed by London on 14 March 2012.
Lord Sutch, Michelle and the team are working flat out developing a host of new revision-focused activities and resources that can help turbo-charge your business studies revision programme in 2012. These will be suitable for both GCSE and AS + we’ll add in a couple of A2 ideas. All exam boards will be catered for. An outline of our proposed content for the day is provided further below.

Revision at Home
Strategies that students can use to make revision at home more enjoyable and effective. Strategies include:
- Planning effective business revision time at home: when revision should start, how revision should be structured, creating an effective revision timetable, creating an environment suitable for revision
- Study Buddies
- Pole Bridging
- Associationism
- Kinaesthetic revision strategies such as punctuation Kung Fu
- C.A.P (Consider all possibilities)
- Creating Revision Podcasts
Revision in the classroom
Strategies that teachers can use in the classroom to make revision more enjoyable and more effective. Strategies include:
- Specific activities and resources to focus on developing the key skills of application, analysis and evaluation.
- Strategies to allow collabrative revision to take place, including revision blogs, working walls
- Game Based Revision
- Strategies for revision differentiation to ensure every pupil reaches/ exceeds their full potential.
- Effective use of past papers, mark schemes and examiners reports to enhance learning.
