Startups find success with a green ethic
Rachel Bridge writes some superb pieces in her enterprise column for The Sunday Times. I really liked Rachel’s piece a couple of weekends ago which took a look at how a selection of successful startups embraced environmentally-friendly and ethical trading at the core of their activities.
One of the entrepreneurs featured is Anya Pearson who has taken a swipe at at what she considers the wasteful excesses of fast-fashion with her clothing business Frank and Faith.
Rachel profiles a couple of other businesses that started out with a “green strategy”, arguing that such an approach can be a reason why a startup can survive and thrive rather than act as an impediment to success. All thought-provoking stuff, which has lef me wondering whether there is much more that tutor2u can do too.
