Recruitment Law - Don’t get caught on the hop

Here is an absolute gem of a clip from the comedy archives that works a treat in generating discussion about recruitment laws, in particular those regarding disability discrimination.  Dudley Moore decides to audition for the part of Tarzan, but should he be considered for the role?

A comedy classic, which you can watch here, but useful in generating discussion about when an employer is within their rights to not consider someone with a disability for a particular role.

It’s great to contrast against the case of Corinne Oliver, the Special Services Executive from Come Fly With Me.  This is a slightly iffy version but the only one I could find on YouTube.  It’s well worth investing in the DVDs as there are a whole range of amusing but relevant business clips.
