I’m aware that several colleagues are now moving onto more strategic parts of their GCE specifications in advance of the June tests. Sooner or later you’ll want to cover mission statements. Here’s a fun online activity that can get students questioning what mission statements are all about - an automated mission generator that makes full use of many of the irrelevant jargon that Boards and Management Consultants like to use. Can your students make any sense of the outputs? Could they take a generated statements and edit it to make it understandable and credible?
