Meet Sir Terry Leahy at the Business Teacher National Conference 2011

We’re putting together what we hope will be another fantastic speaker programme for our annual Business Teacher CPD Enrichment day and we’ve had some terrific news about the first speaker to accept our invitation - Sir Terry Leahy - the CEO of Tesco.  Sir Terry has very kindly agreed to join us for the Business Teacher National Conference on Thursday 30 June 2011 at the spectacular British Library Conference Auditorium in St Pancras London.  Sir Terry will be able to provide business teachers with some fascinating insights into just what has made the Tesco strategy so successful.  It is not to be missed!

Sir Terry is known for transforming the supermarket industry in Britain, growing Tesco to the largest chain in the UK Tesco has successfully also expanded into other parts of Europe and Asia. His creative leadership enabled Tesco to successfully take risks on new products, store formats and lines of business, including expanding the company’s non-food product line.
