Adam King, Co-Founder of King & Allen delivered a wonderful session at our Business Teacher National Conference in June and he’s one of the guests at our two student events (EntrepreneursLIVE! 2010) in November 2010.

This new article in Growing Business provides some great insights into the King & Allen business model.  Some useful points in there for students:

- A product that is clearly differentiated using a value proposition: high quality and low price
- Low overheads - much lower than the higher-priced competitors on Savile Row
- Product (suits) are made to order - eliminating the need to hold stocks (working capital management)
- Word-of-mouth has been the most important part of the promotional mix
