How inflation affects consumers

Another great, short video from the BBC here which is an ideal stimulus piece for a lesson on inflation. It looks at the effect of inflation on three different consumers, and also refers to the potential impact of public spending cuts.

With inflation above the government’s target, and public spending cuts biting, many families are feeling the pinch. Claire Marshall reports from Derby on how households are coping with the economic climate.
