Homework that Works - Latte Magazine Feature
Recommend on Google+
The Spring 2008 edition of Latte Magazine, published at the end of March, will include an article featuring suggestions from teachers on how homework can be made interesting, fun and effective. Would you like to contribute? Do you have some insights or examples that colleagues would find helpful?
If so, please take a few minutes to complete our online survey:
http://www.tutor2u.net/survey/takeSurvey.asp?surveyID=21
Feel free to describe what works with your students - and what does not work! We are particularly interested in your observations on areas such as:
- Frequency of homework
- The format of homework
- Incentives for completion to the right standard or quality (or penalties for not doing so!)
- How homework can be used to support differentiated and personalised learning
- Examples of homework tasks that students found particularly useful and/or interesting
- Use of ICT to support homework completion and submission, including VLEs
- The use of longer, project-based homeworks compared with more frequent & separate tasks
As always, we’ll send a small tutor2u gift to all contributions that are used in the Latte feature article!
We look forward to reading your contributions.
