We’re hard at work on a new series of resources to support the new GCSE Business units.
Our digital Course Companions provide a cost-effective and VLE-friendly replacement for those costly and environmentally-unfriendly textbooks. They include:
- Key topic notes that map precisely the specification topics
- Mini case studies, based on real small businesses (not made-up ones like those in the new textbooks!)
- Interactive key term glossaries
- Live links to a fantastic series of suitable web sites for the unit
Our Course Companions are designed to save your department money as well as provide an outstanding teaching and student resource. Providing comparative materials from an alternative publisher to a cohort of 50 new students in September 09 would cost well over £1,000 per unit. With departmental budgets under pressure like never before, we’ve priced the entire Course Companion package at just £75 for a whole school network licence. You can copy the materials to student pen drives, host it on the school VLE or distribute it topic by topic. You also get the resource in our super Interactive format.
