Crazy Frog-Great example of a targeted marketing mix?

Remember this?  Found one the other day in my youngest toy box.  I was surprised to find out what the earnings were of this little frog.

I played the ring tone in class for 5 minutes, while they were reading the news article and inventing their own ring tone for two other segments.  Winner got my little boys old frog- That’s recycling for you….Students also realised that £10m earnings was not profit, which I was very pleased about!

The annoying tune is hyperlinked in the powerpoint as well.  Good conversation about the benefits of Viral, by analysing the you tube watch counter…
