Session Programme:

Michelle Stephenson - Top Ten Lesson Starters and Activities for BTEC First in Business
Michelle will provide a whistle stop tour of ideas, approaches and new resources for delivering and assessing the unit content for the mandatory units.  From lesson starters to team challenges, all aimed at engaging and challenging our level 2 learners.

Jon Clark - Innovative Teacing Resources for Business Organisation
Jon Clark, provides new and innovative resources for the delivery of Unit 2 Business Organisations.  These includes a giant game of Guess Who?  This PowerPoint game designed to encourage thinking around roles, skills and functional areas within a large organisation.  Will your students be able to guess the employee, based on the clues presented? 

Jaguar Factory Tour
A great opportunity to get right onto the factory floor at Jaguar.  The Education Centre team will take delegates on the tour of the factory.  This covers the Body-in-White build and Trim & Final stage with an explanation of Right-First-Time, Just-in-Time and Lean Working, a super example of operations in progress and a chance for teachers to experience a potential visit location for their students.  Great visual examples to support the new units, Unit 18 Working in Business Teams, Unit 23, Lean Organisation Techniques, Unit 24 Business Improvement Tools and Techniques.

Jim Riley - Resources for Courses
Jim will present time-saving tips on finding useful and up to date information, case study material and other teaching resources for Unit 3 - Financial Forecasting for Business and Unit 1 - Business Purpose and Ownership.

Insights from Jaguar
A senior manager from Jaguar will deliver a presentation on either quality and production processes or people management at Jaguar.
