The aim of this week’s team challenge is to test student’s knowledge of key terms within the HR aspect of the BUSS3 spec and to also see whether or not they have kept up with this weeks’ business news.  (As always, these quiz games are easily adaptable to any subject or course,  just need to change the questions, double click on each house.)

How to Play

Objective:
To correctly identify as many terms and answers as possible based upon given definitions and questions

• The students will be given 12 questions (print out of slide 2)– they need to read them and then decide how many they are certain that they know and can identify.
• They must then bid to win! All team bids are entered onto the slide 2.
• Students answer the questions and hand in their entries to the teacher for marking
• By clicking on the numbers on the houses, the answers are revealed.
• In true, game show style, with plenty of pauses, the team results are revealed.
•  The winning team is the one who correctly identifies as many terms and answers as possible, correctly matching their bids.
• However, if they get their ‘bid’ wrong (i.e. they didn’t know as many definitions as they had thought!) they will lose the game (no matter how many they got correct) and the next highest bid     will win
• In the event of a draw, there is a tie break question

Once again teams get the chance to take the “Risk Factor Challenge”.  An opportunity to double their score or lose all their points.

This week the challenge is simple! The contestant needs to bounce a ball into a cylinder.  (I intend to make the cylinder out of card.)
It will be interesting to see which strategic approach the teams will take!  Risking it and taking the challenge or sticking with their original score.
