We are pleased to announce the initial details of the Politics Teacher National Conference 2008. The stunning British Library Conference Auditorium will be the venue for what we hope to make the best-ever professional development day for Politics teachers and lecturers.
Details of the speaker and session programme will be announced in early 2008. The programme will include:
Professional subject updates on key curriculum topics, including perspectives on the US Presidential Campaign for 2008;
A keynote presentation and Q&A with a well-known Political personality (or perhaps two!)
Suggestions for effective delivery of tough topics
Consideration and debate about strategies for delivering the new specifications from September 2008
A resource exhibition so that colleagues can browse new printed and digital materials ahead of the new specifications.
