This revision workshop provides a focused coaching on the new AQA AS Business Studies Unit 1 specification which students in January 2009 will be taking for the very first time.
Once again, our experienced AQA teacher and examiner presenting team will cover the essential areas that students need to understand to do really well in Jan 2009, including:
- Where small businesses really get their ideas - Market research for a startup - Practical finance for a start-up - To franchise, or not to franchise - Risks of starting businesses & why so many new businesses fail
To prepare for the new Unit 1 exam, we'll work hard with the students on the format and style of the new paper, coaching them in good practice.
We'll use our traditional mix of video clips, timed exercises, individual and group quizzes and keynote presentations to combine into an intensive, but enjoyable day.
